Seen as though you guys seemed to enjoy the Can I Mess With Your Mind Please pic so much I thought that I would end the week with a Friday Favourite of one of my favourite reflection shots.
This was taken on the banks of Derwent Water in the Lake District of England. The Lakes are a landscape photographers heaven — beautiful sunrises at the start of the day, soft dappled lighting through the midday and fantastic sunsets at the end of the day. I was out early on this particular morning and got some great shots around Derwent Water as I waited for the first ferry to come into the dock.
Back in the day when I was using my Grandpa’s Zeiss Ikon Contaflex I also had a cheap, light tripod that let me take this kind of longer exposure shot. I miss that cheap tripod and really look forward to owning another when finances allow! Tripods are a necessity for getting the most from your photography for sure! Enjoy this shot and have an awesome weekend!
