Following on from last weeks post from Central Park I thought that a nice sunset eve photo from the top of the Empire State Building would be nice! What do you think? I really enjoy the way that the deep blue and yellow contrast with the red and yellow lights of the city. It was the middle of winter and therefore the observation deck was not open and using a tripod for a longer exposure to try capture some light trails was just not on. So I was happy with this shot handheld taken through the window. I am sure that I am one of a multitude of folk that have a pic like this of lower Manhattan before 9/11. Glad that I was there to see the Twin Towers as they stood before that fateful day.
