We are almost 100% certain we have never seen so many smiles, so many laughs, and so much joy packed into a single wedding day. Laura and Neal’s day was full of so much emotion, so much joy, even some precious good tears, and just moment after moment, it seemed some new surprise was just waiting for us to grab it with our cameras. The exuberant joy of Laura’s bridesmaids when they saw her in her dress, the sincerity when friends prayed for each of them before the ceremony, the joy on Neal’s face before Laura walked down the aisle, the tears the moment he first saw her walking, the uproar when Neal produced his “vows” on a super-long sheet of paper, the happiness and laughter during the speeches, and even the giggles when it was time to cut the cake — we love capturing the emotion of a wedding day more than anything else, and this day was a FEAST of GOOD THINGS we felt so lucky to capture!
Neal and Laura are a unique and wonderful couple, and they truly seem 110% perfect for each other. Watching their wedding day unfold was nothing short of glorious! At the last moment, the pictures we’d hoped to capture near the beach at the end of the day, about a half an hour away, had to be cancelled because of rain. We drove back to the church hoping we’d still be able to get some special imagery just of the bride and groom before their day was through. And as we arrived, the clouds parted, the rain stopped, and a glorious rainbow crossed the sky, in perfect timing for us to get some beautiful imagery of Mr. & Mrs. Alligood. It was such a treat and SO worth waiting for!
