Goose Creek State Park is a beautiful getaway not far from the bustling metropolis of Washington, North Carolina. Simple hiking trails and boardwalks wind through aged and weathered trees often dressed in Spanish moss to the banks of the creek’s juncture with the Pamlico River.
Although hunting is not allowed on the premises we love spending time in Goose Creek for a different kind of shooting altogether. I took the Bear and my camera down Saturday morning to enjoy the fresh air and the unusually warm February day.
The lighting, the scenery, and the Bear were all happy to oblige my hunt for good shots!
Caroline and I used to go for walks in this place when she was pregnant with the Bear! Hard to believe that was about four years ago!
The Bear was mostly a happy-go-lucky sort of model…
but he occasionally decided to show us his moody side.
We think he might be angling in on a modelling contract with Osh Kosh B’Gosh.
I was afraid he’d get tired of me pointing the camera at him, but he was a very willing subject!
Most kids cross their legs like this when they pose for a photo, right?
This one is Caroline’s absolute favourite. He does look like a rather well-behaved little fella doesn’t he?
Make sure you check out the Quiver Tree giveaway going on at Caroline’s Site before Friday! I’m giving away a free photo session with prints and a canvas. Maybe we can take your crew to Goose Creek next! Click over for the details!
